Cookie policy

Which cookies this site uses, what they are for, and why you will not see a banner asking permission.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser and receives back on later visits. It is how a site remembers, for example, that you have already signed in.

2. The cookies this site uses

The table below is not written by hand: it is generated from an inventory the code itself maintains, and an automated test reads the source and fails if anyone adds a cookie not listed here. That test exists because a policy written as prose stops being true the first time somebody adds a cookie and nobody notices.

NEXT_LOCALERemembers the language chosen, so the site does not revert to Spanish on every visit.User preference1 yearTallerIQ

The full name adds the project identifier and, for a long session, a chunk number.

3. Why there is no cookie banner

Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE requires consent to store cookies, except those strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user.

The three cookies above fall within that exception: two are indispensable for access to work, and the third stores a preference you set yourself by changing language. None measures audience, builds profiles or serves advertising.

That is why we do not ask: asking permission for exempt cookies would be an empty formality. If we ever add an analytics or advertising cookie, there will be a banner before it is stored, and this page will say so.

4. What this site does not do

We use no analytics or advertising tools, and no third-party tracking cookies. There are none in the project: that is verifiable in the code, not a promise.

There is one exception, unrelated to tracking: if you manage your workshop's parts, the panel remembers how you prefer to view them — grouped or not, as a table or as cards — in your browser's local storage, so it does not ask again on every visit. That preference never leaves your browser and is not shared with anyone.

5. How to delete them

You can delete cookies already stored and block future ones from your browser settings. Note that blocking the technical cookies will make signing in impossible, because those are precisely the ones holding the session.

Every common browser allows this from its privacy section.
